"We believe in a God who is Father and who wills to communicate His life in abundance to all men and women, all of whom are called to become His children.
The communication of His life proceeds from a love which is creative and unconditional; quite unearned by those to whom it is given. It is expressed in mercy, forgiveness and healing, in great respect for every person.
We believe in Jesus, the Son, who is the image of the tenderness of the Father, who brings liberation and salvation, freely and to all, but especially to the poor.
We ourselves have been touched by Jesus and transformed by His Spirit. We are called to be His Presence in the African World and the Near East. We have been sent to proclaim to men and women that they are children of the same Father, brothers and sisters in the same family, all called to love and freedom.
We make this proclamation in all respect for persons, groups, cultures and religions. We wish to adopt an attitude of listening and of dialogue as we identify with others in their struggle for life and liberty.
It is by the way we live and by the, way we love those to whom we are
sent, as Jesus has loved us that we bear witness to this Good News.
