Sessions
in 2004
In view of assisting confreres with planning their home leaves for next year and eventually taking part in some programme of ongoing formation, we publish an overview of next year's sessions.
1. Biblical session and 30 day's retreat (S/R): (10-15 years of oath)
Are welcome missionaries of Africa, African clergy, missionaries men and women.
16th March (evening) - 11th June (evening) 2004 in Jerusalem in ENGLISH. Applications are to be sent to the Provincial who will forward them to the secretariat of the sessions in Jerusalem, before Christmas 2003.
2. Session of "Transition to the Third Age" (60-70):
Only for Missionaries of Africa
14th April (evening) - 8th May (noon) 2004 in Monte Cucco in FRENCH. Applications are to be sent to the Provincial, who will forward them to Fr Herman Bastijns in Rome :
( hermanbastijns@mafroma.org ) before the end of January 2004. A special form is to be filled in by the applicant.
3. Missionary Discipleship Today (MDT): (45-70)
Are welcome Missionaries of Africa, African clergy, missionaries men and women
14th September (evening) - 9th December (evening) 2004 in Jerusalem in FRENCH. Applications are to be sent to the Provincial who will forward them to the secretariat of the sessions in Jerusalem, before Easter 2004.
4. Meeting of elderly confreres (70+):
Only for Missionaries of Africa
8th September (evening) - 25th September (evening) 2004 in Rome in ENGLISH. Applications have to be sent to the Provincial who will forward them to Fr Herman Bastijns :

5. Session of confrères in their second mandate of mission.
Only for Missionaries of Africa
This session will be organised in 2004 according to the initiatives taken in various parts or in the Provinces in Africa. Session in French in Kigufi (Rwanda) 5th September (in the evening) - 26th September (at noon). The Provincials may contact the confreres invited at this session. 6. Midlife Renewal for missionaries:
25th October 2004 (noon) - 5th March (morning) 2005 in Rome in FRENCH. This is an inter-congregational session of Midlife renewal for missionaries (men and women) between 45 and 55 years of age (www.heko.org). Applications for admission need to be made on a special form provided by the Provincial and be addressed to the Secretary of Midlife Renewal, before 30th June 2004.

1. Session biblique et grande retraite (S\R) : (10-15 années de serment)
Cette session est ouverte pour confrères, abbés africains, missionnaires hommes et femmes
16 mars (soir) - 11 juin (soir) 2004 à Jérusalem en ANGLAIS. Les inscriptions se font directement auprès du Provincial qui les fera suivre au secrétariat des sessions à Jérusalem avant NOËL 20042. Session de "transition au troisième âge : (60-70)

3. Disciples et Missionnaires Aujourd'hui (DMA) : (45-70) voir Préparation
Cette session est ouverte pour confrères, abbés africains, missionnaires hommes et femmes.
14 septembre (soir) - 9 décembre (soir) 2003 à Jérusalem en FRANÇAIS. Les inscriptions se font directement auprès du Provincial qui les fera suivre auprès du secrétariat des sessions à Jérusalem avant Pâques 2004.4. Rencontre de confrères âgés (70 +) :

5. Session de confrères dans leur deuxième mandat de mission :
Inscription réservée aux Missionnaires d'Afrique
Cette session sera organisée selon les initiatives prises dans les différentes zones et Provinces de l'Afrique. Du 5 septembre au soir au 26 septembre (midi) 2004, à Kigufi au Rwanda en français. Que les provinciaux contactent les confrères invités à cette session. Toute information peut être obtenue auprès de Guy Theunis à Rome. form.continue@mafroma.org6. Session au Milieu de la Vie pour missionnaires :
25 octobre (midi) 2004 - 5 mars (matin) 2005 à Rome en FRANÇAIS. La session est une session de renouveau, inter-congrégationnelle, pour missionnaires (hommes et femmes) de 45 à 55 ans (www.heko.org). Les demandes d'admission se font avec un formulaire spécial que l'on peut obtenir du Provincial. Les demandes sont adressées au secrétariat du programme, avant le 30 juin 2004.
