Fr. Paul Brems's Golden Jubilee
at Lourdel House -KAMPALA - UGANDA
7th December 2005:

on the 7th December we had our annual feast at Lourdel House, most confreres and 6 MSOLA ( Missionaries sisters of Our Lady of Africa) were present, plus 40 of our philosophers from Jinja. We had a beautiful celebration in the compound.

Our Golden Jubilarian was Fr. Paul Brems. He stayed in Masaka- Luganda speaking mission till he was 61 and followed then the call to go to the North. He learned a Nilotic Language and became an expert in the language of Teso. Up till now he was the Parish Priest at Acumet, Soroti Diocese. With his pipe we experienced a happy missionary and an example to the young. We wish many more happy years in Teso.
