This summer holidays is a time of a great joy for the Polish White fathers. It is not only because of a splendid weather, but because of 2 priestly ordinations of our 2 young confreres, Marcin Perfikowski and Marcin Zagula..
As usually, the ceremonies took place in the parishes of origin of our confreres.
The ordination of MARCIN ZAGULA took place in the industrial town of Dabrowa Gornicza in the south of Poland. Again, the hosting parish was the one where our confrere grew up and was an active member of a youth movement called "Oasis". This parish belongs to the diocese of Sosnowiec whose ordinary - bishop Grzegorz Kaszak was the one who ordained Marcin to the priesthood. However it should be noticed that there was a second bishop who took part in the ceremony - it was our confrere: Mgr.Martin Happe bishop of Nouakchott who profited from being on holiday in Europe and came to Poland for this big feast. By the way, it was bishop Martin who ordained Marcin as a deacon last december in Abidjan. Some other confreres from Poland and abroad were present at ceremony of ordination on the 24 of July as well as at the Thanksging Mass the day after. Among them was present Fr.Detlef Bartsch, the Provincial of Europe.
