Brother Vernon Zachman spent the last three years of his life on earth in St. Petersburg at our retirement home. He had spent many years working in Malawi, Central Africa. Previous to that he had labored in our houses here in the U.S., performing every kind of repair work imaginable, pacing through life in his own quiet, peaceful way. He entered into eternal life, Monday night, April 19, 2010, at 11:30 P.M. at St. Anthony Hospital after a bout of pneumonia. His body will be cremated, and cremains will be sent for burial to his hometown in Minnesota. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at our retirement home here at 5757-7th Avenue, North, St. Petersburg, FL. on Saturday, April 24, 2010, beginning at 10:30 A.M. Your presence would be appreciated.
